Cara de la Hoyde suffers horrendous morning sickness and shares all about it on Twitter
The Love Island star is eating ice lollies to help
PREGNANT Love Island star Cara de la Hoyde has told fans she is suffering from terrible morning sickness.
Cara is expecting her first baby with her ex-boyfriend and fellow Islander Nathan Massey but is struggling with constant nausea.
Taking to Twitter, the reality star has asked fans for advice, as her morning sickness is lasting 24 hours a day.
Cara tweeted: "Why do they call it morning sickness when it lasts all day and night.
"Early night for me....any good tips ladies?"
Along with being told to try travel sickness wrist bands and ginger biscuits, she also received a suggestion from Cally Jane Beech.
Cally won the first series of Love Island and has recently welcomed her first child, a daughter called Vienna, with co-star Luis Morrison.
She told Cara: "Ginger tea bbe try that helped me xxx it's awful ain't it hopefully will go."
Cara replied: "Thanks Hun it's on my shopping list, currently going through a pack of ice lollies which seems to be helping."
Cara announced her pregnancy earlier this week but described it as a "sad situation" given her recent split with Nathan.
The pair confirmed their break-up in April and Cara has since revealed it came two weeks after she discovered she was expecting.
Cara told : “It’s a shame and a sad situation. I know a lot of people will think, well you’re going to have a baby together so just stay together – but we’re not going to do that just to look like the perfect couple.
“People are probably expecting us to get back together.
“But we’re not a couple who can force something if it’s not working.”
Nathan has since vowed to stand by Cara but previously admitted he wasn't ready to become a dad when he entered Love Island last year.
In an unearthed interview from the time, he said: "I’m definitely not ready for kids or anything like that – but I am looking for a girl to tame me."
Meanwhile, the new series of Love Island is due to hit TV screens in the coming weeks.
