PEARL Mackie appeared to give a big clue about who might be in the mysterious vault on Doctor Who.

The actress was speaking on This Morning when she hinted what fans could see to hosts Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford.

Pearl, who plays Bill Potts, teased: "It could be loads of daleks in there or it could be the Doctor's granddaughter. Who knows? You'll have to see."

Eamonn joked: "It's a bit like deal or no deal"

And Pearl replied: "I don't think there's any money in there."

It was revealed in an episode that the resident can play the piano and they were heard playing Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata.

Pearl also spoke about her future on the show following Peter Capaldi's decision to move on from his role as the Doctor.

She admitted: "It's not up to me whether  I stay on the show or go. Working with Peter has been wonderful and our dynamic together really works but that's not to say it wouldn't work with a new actor.

"It's just an adjustment. So time will tell what happens next."
