GEMMA Atkinson has revealed her rock hard abs in her latest gym picture.
The Emmerdale actress took to Instagram to show off the results of her hard work, flashing a rippling six pack as she lifted her gym top while stood alongside her trainer.
With a delighted look on her face, Gemma captioned the image: "My face says it all! Thank you @upfitnesslive @markbo1989 3.5 weeks down!
"8 weeks to go! I got so chuffed seeing my mini ab definition only to be brought back to reality with evil Steve's casual comment "yeh, they are definitely under there somewhere. Few more weeks and you'll see them" #strongwomen #ladieswholift #girlpower".
The 32-year-old has always been a big fan of fitness and healthy living and has gained a large following thanks to her motivational posts, but she has fought hard to ensure she is being completely honest with her fans.
"There are so many things people are doing now. I was contacted by a company – they offered me free liposuction in return for some Instagram posts, and you think, ‘oh my god', it was ridiculous."
She continued: "Obviously I didn't do it, and I wouldn't want to do that. But I just think: my niece is 13 and I'd hate for her to think she had to be a specific size or have Botox or have a specific lip shape just to please society."
Gemma also admitted she would never make a fitness DVD for the sole purpose of earning money and revealed she had already turned down several offers to make one.
She explained: "There have been brands who have offered. I’ve been asked to do fitness DVDs in the past, but I train in the gym and I look this way from lifting weights at home – it's not going to work for them.
"I would never do something just for the financial side of it if it wasn't real, if it wasn't something I did or believed in."
