The act of generosity comes after Nicki Minaj pledged to pay thousands of fans' tuition fees if they could prove they'd achieved straight As.

A rep for the "merky" wordsmith told The Sun: "I can confirm it was Stormzy who made the £9,000 donation."

Fiona's friend has a brilliant idea for thanking 23-year-old Stormzy, which he's keen to go along with.

Thanking the rapper, Fiona's pal wrote: "@Stormzy1 let me take you Nando's for a thank you chicken because this is all you."

He responded: "deal!"

The total cost of Fiona's nine-month study at Harvard is £59,000 but thanks to an external scholarship and a grant she only had £12,000 to raise all together.
