Tina Hobley admits her sex life has suffered and she lost her hair following allergic reaction to drugs after horrific The Jump injuries
Actress, 45, told the Loose Women hosts about the impact her injuries have had on family life
TINA Hobley has spoken about the shocking injuries she suffered on last year’s series of The Jump.
In an emotionally charged Loose Women appearance, Tina also joked about how the traumatic incident had impacted her sex life.
Speaking during a chat about couples who use sex robots to heal their relationships, Tina revealed: “I’m still in shock about that robot. Would I do it? No, I wouldn’t! Though with the year I’ve had my poor husband hasn’t had much of anything!”
The actress – best known for roles in Coronation Street and Holby City – was forced to withdraw from the 2016 after her elbow came out of its socket and her arm was broken in two places while preparing for a fear-inducing stunt on the Channel 4 show where celebrities compete in skiing challenges.
Revealing the impact her injuries had on her children, Tina revealed: “It was hard for them. There were really low times. I think the lowest was when I couldn’t brush my teeth or put my shoes on because both my arms were in a cast.”
Tina, 45, explained: “I was on strong painkillers for about six months and my hair started falling out and they [her children] saw that. It was really bad. I was on Tramadol for six months and I had a bad allergy or something to it where your hair starts falling out. I think it was the stress.
“I was having a great time on the show. I’ve skied for 30 years, so I’ve skied always and my friend Tamara [Beckwith] was doing it, we thought it would be great. I was just incredibly unlucky.
“When they told me to jump, they hadn’t checked that it was clear for me to jump. So they sent me jumping and it was just one of those things.”
Seven celebrities were forced to withdraw from Tina’s series of The Jump including Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding and Made In Chelsea star Mark-Francis Vandelli.
