MAGIC moments can be found on Britain's Got Talent - and the show certainly created unforgettable scenes when magician Matt Edwards took to the stage.
Matt was awarded a golden buzzer by Ant & Dec the ITV talent show after giving an amusing magic routine - sending him straight through to the live rounds where he wowed again, and he's now headed for the final.
Who is Matt Edwards?
Matt Edwards is a magician and comedian.
He is 34-years-old and from Suffolk.
He admitted on the show that he wasn’t your average magician.
He said: "I think what makes me different from other magicians is the type of magic I perform isn’t sleight of hand.
"It’s a little bit crazy, it’s a little bit variety."
He was described by Ant and Dec as being as "funny as Lee Evans".
Whey did Ant and Dec use their Golden Buzzer for Matt Edwards on Britain’s Got Talent?
Ant and Dec were so bowled over by Matt that they awarded him their Golden Buzzer.
The presenting duo confessed they were wetting themselves with laughter watching Matt pour himself a tequila and then produce an endless stream of salt from his hands during his routine on Saturday night.
He had the audiences and judges in hysterics as he showed off his impressive skills – and then broke down in tears as Ant and Dec slapped their Golden Buzzer for him.
Matt was standing calmly as Simon Cowell and the judges assessed his routine and was shocked when Ant and Dec brushed past him on stage towards the Golden Buzzer, exclaiming “excuse us a second” as they passed.
Dec said the pair had decided to back the magician-come-entertainer to offer him a hand-up – and send him straight through to the live semi finals of Britain’s Got Talent.
He said: “He’s 34 years old and for some reason he hasn’t been given the break up until now and we just wanted to be there and do it.”
Ant added: “We were laughing so much I thought I was going to pee myself.”
Offering praise to Matt, Simon said: “I’ve got to be honest when you started with that voice I thought it’s going to be really annoying but you are brilliant.
“I’m surprised you haven’t had a break yet Matthew because you’re really likeable, and nuts.
“You’ve just got something about you, an energy. This is what we look for in these shows, people who have got star quality, I’ve just got a feeling about you.”
Who else has got a Golden Buzzer?
