Ferne found out she was pregnant just days before her ex-boyfriend Arthur Collins was arrested over a horrific acid attack in a London Nightclub.

Speaking to Holly and Phil, the emotional star said: “It has been such a stressful surreal situation to be in.

“I’m actually feeling good and positive because I’m pregnant, it’s given me strength and hope to get through this.”

Asked how she first found our she's expecting a baby, Ferne said: "Missing a period was my biggest indicator. I was really worried, I bought two tests.... I took one test and I just didn't believe it.

"Then I did the other one and until you have the first scan, you still don't believe it.

"The first scan is amazing. You bond with your baby for the first time.

"I got over the initial shock and I'm just so excited, I feel like this is a blessing."

Speaking about hearing the heartbeat, Ferne added: "It felt like a massive relief, it's a magical moment. It's just mental being pregnant, I still can't quite believe it."

It was Ferne's first TV appearance since The Sun revealed she was pregnant.

The former Towie star has been lying low since her ex-boyfriend Arthur Collins was arrested over a horrific acid attack in a London Nightclub.

Collins has been charged with 14 counts of wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm and one count of throwing corrosive fluid on a person with intent to do grievous bodily harm.

Last week Ferne was spotted out for the first time since she fled to Ireland to spend time with friends.

Ferne discovered she was expecting just days before Collins, 24, was accused of being involved in the acid attack at a Dalston nightclub which left 20 injured and two people blind in one eye.

Collins went on the run following the attack in the early hours of Easter Monday.

After a police appeal and manhunt for Collins, he was finally apprehended six days after the incident in Rushden, Northants.

In dramatic footage obtained by The Sun, Collins was tasered by a squad of 30 armed police as he was arrested — in his underpants.
