Who is Danny Walters? What's his background?
Danny is a 25-year-old actor from Harlow in Essex.
The young star attended the London School of Musical Theatre between 2011 and 2012.
His first role came in 2012 when he appeared in action film Broken Hearts, alongside Suranne Jones.
Who does Danny play in EastEnders?
Danny was announced as one of the newest members of the Square in 2017 as part of the "noisy and brash" Taylor family.
The family is comprised of single mum Karen Taylor (played by Lorraine Stanley) and her children Bernadette (Clair Norris), bad-boy Keegan Baker and Danny's character, Keanu.
Real life brothers Tom and Alfie Jacobs play the youngest of the family, Riley and Chatham.
Bronson the dog and a bearded dragon named Rooney complete the clan.
Speaking of his new role, Danny said: “I feel so privileged to already feel a part of the team.”
He added: “Everyone has been so friendly and kind and gone above and beyond to make us feel welcome and supported.”
They joined the show in the summer of 2017.

Danny has had a relatively short career so far - but has left a lasting impression on British TV regardless.
He is most known as playing Benidorm regular Tiger Dyke.
The cheeky chappy has been in the series since the sixth outing of the holiday resort based show, and is known to cause trouble around The Solana.
As well as Tiger, he was a regular in 2014 drama, Our World War, and was in one episode of Call The Midwife.
Last year, he took on the role of Jack in the Billingham's version of pantomime, Jack and the Beanstalk.
