James Arthur reveals he ‘still struggles’ with anxiety every day as he opens up on mental illness on Lorraine

X FACTOR winner James Arthur has admitted he "still struggles" with anxiety on a daily basis.
The popstar bravely revealed his ongoing battle with mental illness on today's Lorraine show.
The Middlesbrough-born singer said: "Anxiety is something very close to my heart, it's something I suffer with daily as well.
"Music can really help that."
James said his song-writing had proved to be "cathartic" in helping him with his battle with anxiety.
He said: "The most important thing is being aware of the triggers.
"A lot of things can trigger my anxiety.
"Just to be above and aware of them is important."
James, 29, added: "I'm not saying I'm a guru of life.
"I still struggle. But I try to be as positive as possible."

James - who was mentored by Nicole Scherzinger on the ITV talent show back in 2012 - also revealed he will be penning a book to detail his mental health battles.
Discussing the tell-all autobiography Back to the Boy, he told show host Lorraine Kelly: "I'm doing a memoir - it's not your typical autobiography.
"I wanted to incorporate the struggles with mental health and the boy represents the mental illness, the anxiety, the depression.
"It's right through the story."
James' fans flocked to Twitter to show their support.
One wrote: "Wishing you all the very best for the future. Great to see you speaking out on Lorraine and coping with your anxieties," while another added: "You were incredible on Lorraine, love your honesty."
