Victoria Beckham heads to the lab to create her new Estee Lauder range
Victoria's first limited-edition collection for the brand sold out within weeks last September
VICTORIA Beckham shared a behind-the-scenes snap of her back in the lab working on her new range for beauty brand Estee Lauder.
Her first limited edition collection was released last September and won rave reviews among fans and beauty editors alike.
Now she's back in the lab working on a new range which will include some new products as well as fan favourites.
Sharing a snap of her in a lab coat working with formulas, Victoria wrote: "Fun day in the lab with @esteelauder, watch this space! X VB #VBxEsteeLauder #FashionStoleMySmile".
Speaking to magazine about her range, she said: "I was astonished and humbled by the feedback the collection received. Of course, I felt passionately from the outset that each and every product was brilliant, but you never know how it’s going to go.
"Creating the first collection with Estée Lauder was the culmination of a long-held dream for me, so when we received such an overwhelmingly positive response from customers and retailers it made sense for us to revisit and develop the collaboration.
"We wanted to review it and look at what worked well - what do we need to fine-tune, where could we extend the range?"
However, while her fans love her Instagram feed with everything from fashion, beauty and her fab family, Victoria received a letter from the US Federal Trade Commission warning her against promoting products on her account.
Designer Victoria, 43 - who has 15.3million followers on the site - regularly uses it to post photos of her own fashion collections.
But she was contacted after posting a snap of beauty product Lancer Contour Décolleté.
The letter read: “The FTC’s Endorsement Guide states that if there is a ‘material connection’ between an endorser and the marketer of the product... the connection should be clearly and conspicuously disclosed.”
The star’s notification came after last month the FTC said it was watching out for products being promoted on social media by celebrities.
The agency included a reminder that marketing messages must be clearly identified.
In response, US publication the National Law Journal submitted an FOI to the agency asking who was under scrutiny.
And the reply named nearly 100 celebrities, influencers and companies, including Victoria.
Heidi Klum and Lindsay Lohan were also named.
A source said last night: “There is no suggestion of untoward activity here. Those singled out have simply been reminded of the rules.”
