Rylan made the confession during his appearance on This Morning today when he was talking about the revived reality series.

The TV star admitted he hopes the new season of Big Brother is filmed at the same London studio as Dancing on Ice because he would love to be able to have a play about on the rink.

This Morning host Holly Willoughby asked whether he wanted to be a contestant on the show, and Rylan said he couldn't sign up because: "I'm doing Big Brother."

Rylan, who works on a number of Big Brother spin-off shows, pointed out that Dancing on Ice used to air in January - which would put it on TV at the same time as BB.

When Phillip Schofield asked why Rylan didn't just quit BB to take part in the skating contest, Rylan made a joke about his chat show Up Late With Rylan, which was recently axed by Channel 5.

He yelled: "Not another show I've been axed from!"

The Sun exclusively revealed the show has been dropped due to poor ratings.

Episode One featured celebrity guests Alesha Dixon, Keith Lemon and Charlotte Crosby, but brought in a measly 235,000 viewers and the rest of the run didn’t fare much better.

During the interview, Rylan also teased Holly about rumours she could take part in the next series of Strictly Come Dancing.

Holly has long denied she will ever sign up for the show, and she said it again today - insisting she is too "terrified" and bad at dancing to ever take part.
