Towie’s Dan Edgar admits Lauren Pope romance is hotting up as he says she ‘could be his girlfriend’
TOWIE star Dan Edgar has revealed his romance Lauren Pope is hotting up as he has admitted she "could be his girlfriend".
The reality star has opened up about the blossoming relationship, and branded the TV beauty "stunning".
Dan, 26, has been linked to Lauren, 34, over the last few weeks after he told The Sun that he planned to take his former flame out for a drink.
They were then seen out on the town together and now he has gone one step further by admitted they could be an item.
He told new! magazine: "Lauren is lovely...
"We're going to go out on a few dates... Lauren could be my girlfriend...
"I need to be single for a bit to get it out of my system, but I do fancy her.
"She's stunning... She's the most chilled out girl and I always have a laugh with her."
Dan has found himself single again following his split from Towie newbie Amber Turner.
In an exclusive interview with The Sun’s Bizarre column he admitted he is interested in dating Lauren.
He said: “Lauren is stunning obviously.
“I’m going to take her for a drink for sure.
“I have always got on with her. We had a little fling before and ended on good terms – so we will see."
He was first linked to Lauren after he joined the cast of the show back in 2015.
She later revealed they had a secret fling, telling BANG Showbiz: "You can’t deny that Dan Edgar is still stunningly beautiful.
“We had a little fling, if you can call it that, but it fizzled out when I moved away from Essex. We left it on really good terms. He’s nice and chilled out.”
Dan was previously in a relationship with Kate Wright for four years, and he went on to date Amber.
The Sun Online was first to reveal the reality TV newbie cheated on her boyfriend Jamie Reed with hunky Dan as they filmed in Tenerife this year.
But they broke up less than a month after getting together.
