Gino D’Acampo claims ‘fussy children’ are the fault of ‘stupid parents’ and reveals his children are given their dinner for BREAKFAST if they don’t eat it all

The celebrity chef has some harsh words for the parents of fussy eaters

GINO D’Acampo has slammed "stupid parents" for creating a culture of "fussy eaters".

The celebrity chef made his feelings clear on the matter in a new interview in which he revealed his children are given no choice over what they eat while they’re at home.

Gino told : “My kids are not allowed to be fussy eaters. The problem with fussy children is their stupid parents.

“I run a family kitchen and in my house we don’t have options. I never had options, why should they?

“If you cook something your children don’t like, don’t offer anything else and put it out again for breakfast.

“My wife is softer than me but when I’m around there is no other way than mine.”

The Naples born 40-year-old is married to wife of 15-years Jessica, with whom he has kids Luciano, 15, Rocco, 12, and Mia, five.

Gino is out of the house working for around 17 hours a day, running his restaurants and fulfilling his other work commitments.

However when he comes home Gino says he wears the trousers in the house, adding: “You can see my wife look at the children, saying with her eyes: ‘Don’t even think about it, he’s not going to bend.’”

This isn’t the first time the former I’m A Celebrity star has taken aim at parents who he blamed for their children’s bad eating habits.

He said in 2015: “The problem with kids is always the parents. It's the idiocy of the parents; their ignorance gets passed on to their children. Ignorant parents blame everyone and everything except themselves.

“There's no such thing as a fussy child; if you put something in front of them often enough eventually they will eat it.”
