Lorraine Kelly leaves GMB hosts Piers Morgan, Susanna Reid and Charlotte Hawkins in shock as she says Emma Watson is ‘annoying’
The Scottish TV host made her comments after Piers had slated the gender neutral classification of last night's MTV Movie Awards, of which Emma was a recipient
TELLY'S Mrs Nice Lorraine Kelly left Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan in shock as she branded actress Emma Watson a "wee bit annoying".
The Scottish presenter made her comments in response to Piers' fury over the Harry Potter star's acceptance of the "utterly ridiculous" gender-neutral MTV Movie and TV Awards' Best Actor gong last night.
Transferring to the Lorraine studio for a preview of her show, which follows GMB in the ITV schedule, Piers asked her: "Am I going nuts or is it just me, is this all getting a bit ridiculous?"
Trying to give a balanced perspective, she replied: "I hear you, I hear what you're saying.
"But is it the fact she won, and she's a wee bit annoying?"
"If it had been somebody else ..." before Piers' co-host Susanna Reid squealed "oooooh Lorraine" in surprise
Giggling at Lorraine's slip of the tongue, Piers added: "You know what I mean, obviously I wouldn't have used those words," before bursting out into a knowing laugh.
Continuing to jest about a gender neutral society, he added: "Emma Watson is a wee bit annoying says Larry Kelly."
Meanwhile bubbly host Lorraine lay the blame firmly at his door, and squealed: "You always get me into trouble!"

Her off the cuff comment came after outspoken Londoner Piers had opened today's GMB with a monologue about what he saw as the "pointless" gender neutral classification of the top accolades.
His words also served to reignite his long-running spat with the Harry Potter child star for what he sees as a contrast between her feminist views and personal choices after she stripped for a magazine cover.
He riled some fans as he opened the show by saying: "Gender neutral awards - just what the world was craving.
"I can't think of a better recipient than Emma Watson, a great flagbearer to all things gender neutral."
Continuing his fiery chat with co-host Susanna Reid, he said: "Do we need to have men and women?
"Shall we call you woes? Woe is me.
"You become woes. We can't become men obviously, we become persons.
"And everything becomes gender neutral."
A little exasperated, Susanna squealed: "MTV what have you started?"
Piers, 52, just couldn't let things lie as he dominated the conversation.
He added: "Eventually I will smash my head repeatedly into a brick wall - which is of course a great crowd pleaser."
He later called on telly fans to join in the debate - before suggesting those in favour of gender neutral awards should seek medical advice.
He rounded off with: "If anyone thinks you should, I've got a good doctor you can see."
Piers' comments divided fans on Twitter.
One furious viewer wrote: "Piers Morgan mocking gender first thing on a Monday morning has made me so angry," while another raged: "Honestly, how dare you sit in judgement of people. Shaming those who are struggling. You are up your own backside."
A third put: " is like a Gender Neutral Dog with a bone this morning ."
One telly fan quipped: "Thrilled that piers morgan's fragile masculinity has reared its head already this morning," while another commented: "A new record! 30 seconds into GMB this morning and already on his soap box about gender and 'gender neutral' awards ceremonies."
But some agreed with Piers' blunt views.
One posted: "Mad Monday. Found myself agreeing with Piers Morgan rant against "gender-neutrality"" while another added: "I'm with you Piers,,,I just don't get it ??"
A third added: "Totally agree with you Piers. Everyone should Man up. Or is it women up?"
