EX-UNION J singer George Shelley's sister Harriet has tragically died after being hit by a car over a week ago.
A friend close to the family confirmed the tragic news to The Sun Online on Saturday night.
A rep for George said: "George and the entire family are devastated and heartbroken at the loss of their beloved, beautiful Harriet.
"They are all together, supporting each other at this difficult time and would appreciate the time and space to do so before they make any further comments. "
Harriet's mother Toni Harris was at her bedside since the accident and said her daughter was "in the wrong place at the wrong time".
Toni, from Clevedon, Somerset said nobody was to blame for the incident and that hospital staff had worked 24/7 to help her daughter.
Harriet had been stabilised after the accident but her condition worsened.
She told The Sun: “Everybody at Southmead Hospital has been amazing, they have been working "24/7" to make sure she is alright.

“They have been holding church services, Bristol’s Buddha centre has also been helping – everybody across different religions have been so amazing.”
Her brother George Shelley shot to fame with his band Union J in 2012- which was formed on the reality TV singing contest X Factor.
Since then he has starred in I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here.
Harriet told her 20,000 Twitter followers she was working on her dissertation just days before her accident while studying for a midwifery degree.
