STEPHANIE Davis and Jeremy McConnell are celebrating him being five weeks sober with a romantic date night.

The on-off couple seem to be back on track after a tumultuous few days and were pictured kissing passionately in the park earlier today.

After spending the afternoon cuddling and joking around in the fresh air, the pair are hitting the town to mark Jeremy's milestone.

Taking to Twitter, Steph wrote: "Date night tonight. ❤ 5 weeks sober today #proud @JezzaMcConnell 💑".

It appears things are much calmer at home as Steph also tweeted about the pair cleaning the house while their baby boy Caben-Albi took a nap.

She wrote: "How cute is my little man sleeping! Time for mummy and daddy to get some housework done💛😍".

Their date night comes after Jeremy flew back to the UK after spending a month in rehab in Ireland.

However, things had turned sour between the pair by Wednesday with Steph tweeting (and deleting) that he was a cheat.

But Steph then shocked her followers by releasing a lengthy post admitting she has an alcohol problem of her own.

She revealed "me and Jeremy can't drink together" but his rep exclusively told the Sun Online that he has not "touched a drop of alcohol since he left rehab”.

Jeremy, 27, has been keeping up with his new healthy lifestyle and was pictured hitting the gym with a pal this weekend.

The former Hollyoaks actress, who was sacked for turning up to work drunk, told fans that a "chemical imbalance" means she can't handle her drink, and was going to quit booze for good, just like Jeremy.

She wrote: "I can’t drink because it ruins my life.

“I keep things in. I destroy people’s lives. Me and Jeremy can’t drink. And won’t be drinking again.

“It’s been hard for me to admit and accept. I’m a good mother and a good person, but alcohol doesn’t agree with my life. It’s a chemical imbalance.”

After unfollowing and then refollowing each other on Twitter, Steph took to Instagram to announce that she would always be Jez's "wifey".

However, fans have urged her to dump the Irish model for the sake of their baby son after they ended up rowing days after reuniting.

The pair split last year shortly before Steph went public with her baby news, and Jez distanced himself from both her and the baby.

He voiced doubts about whether he was the father, accusing Steph of sleeping with other men, but he later came around and they got back together following Caben’s birth in January.

But Steph’s on/off relationship with the Jez appeared to be off again in March after he was arrested on suspicion of assaulting her.

Now only time will tell if the pair can work things out.
