RICHARD Hammond has vowed to give up death-defying stunts for the sake of his family following a Grand Tour crash 11 years after the Top Gear accident which left him in a coma.
The TV presenter was knocked out when he fell off a bike while filming a new episode of the Amazon show, and he has now promised not to put himself in danger again.
Hammond, 47, is dad to two little girls and he has now sworn off stunts to make sure he is around to see his kids grow up.
He told : "I’ve a beautiful wife and two beautiful daughters.
"I’m not going to risk leaving them..."
Richard and his wife Mindy are parents to two girls, Izzy, 16, and Willow, 13.
The Grand Tour star recently hit his head coming off a motorbike in a remote part of Africa.
Hammond’s co-star Jeremy Clarkson said of his pal’s horror motorbike crash: “He really did hurt himself quite badly.”

The Hamster, 47, was knocked out after falling from the bike and hitting his head, he lay unconscious in the road in remote Mozambique, miles from medical help.
But asked if his friend went to hospital, Clarkson quipped: “We don’t do hospitals.”
After the smash, he assured fans he was OK, writing in a post on motoring social media site DriveTribe, titled Yes, I fell off but yes, I’m fine. Sorry.
He wrote: “I can confirm that yes, I fell off a. bike, many times, in fact and yes, I banged my head and everything else. But life goes on (sic).
“It’s true, I did fall off a motorbike whilst filming recently for The Grand Tour in Mozambique.
"I banged my head, yes, along with pretty much everything else apart from my left thumb, which remains un-bruised.
“Can’t tell you more yet about the how and why of it; that’s all for later in the year on the show.
“As for injuries; well put it this way, I don’t think I can get a book out of it.”
Crew on TV’s The Grand Tour raced to Richard’s aid, mindful he suffered serious brain damage in a 288mph smash 11 years ago. It is not known if he was wearing a helmet in the latest drama.
Richard almost died in a 288mph collision on Top Gearback in 2007 when a jet-propelled car he was driving flipped off the track.
He suffered life-threatening injuries and was left in a coma, but the TV star went on to make a full recovery.
