PREGNANT Serena Williams showed maternity fashion can still be stylish as she attended the launch of Burberry’s DK88 bag in a navy lace dress.
The tennis star, 35, showed off a hint of leg thanks to the garment’s subtle thigh split, and she broke the blue of the dress with a chunky brown belt.
Keeping things classy, Serena wore a pair of black heels and her raven hair in glossy, shoulder-length waves.
She caught up with the brand’s chief executive Christopher Bailey, greeting him with a warm hug and posing for pictures.
There was plenty of glamour in the room, with the likes of Jourdan Dunn, Ruby Rose and Ellie Goulding all showing off their fashion credentials.
British beauty Jourdan rocked a knee-length floaty dress and a beige cardigan with some teetering strappy heels.
Australian actress Ruby opted for a monochrome ensemble, combining skinny black trousers with a matching shirt and quirky boots, with a lavish white cape coat and golden handbag.
Ellie Goulding displayed her toned legs in a colourful patchwork minidress, while model Jessica Hart went for a rock chic style in a black leather jacket and skinny black trousers.
World number one Serena, who will give birth in the autumn, recently confessed she discovered her pregnancy just two days before winning the Australian Open in January where she beat her sister Venus in the final.
She will be on maternity leave for the rest of 2017, missing Wimbledon – but says she will be back as a mum on tour next year.
She said: “I definitely plan on coming back. I’m not done yet.
“If [Venus] still playing, I know I can play. This [motherhood] is just a new part of my life. My baby’s going to be in the stands and hopefully cheering for me.”
