Bella Hadid, Dakota Johnson and host of stars sneak a cheeky ciggy in LOOS at Met Gala despite New York smoking ban
While the lavish party raged outside, a bunch of A-listers decided to relax together in the bathroom instead
A HOST of A-Listers returned to their high school roots at the Met Gala and played rebels by hiding out in the toilets to smoke together.
Bella Hadid, Frances Bean Cobain, Ruby Rose, Paris Jackson, Lara Stone, Rami Malek and Dakota Johnson are just some of the celebrities who opted to head into the bathroom and light up instead of braving the New York air outside.
While Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour slapped a ‘no selfie’ rule on the stars at the event, a team of celebrities hid out in the bathroom to take their snapshots and grab a cheeky ciggy in the bathroom.
This also led to one of the most celeb-filled selfies in history – as Kylie Jenner and co gathered a group together to take a picture in the bathroom mirror.
While the extravagant annual bash raged outside – and cost £23,000 a seat – a select group of stars opted to hang around the less-than-glam bathroom stalls and have a mini-party of their own.

Snapchat lover Rita Ora made the most of her time with her phone in the crowded toilet, posing next to Mr Robot star Rami Malek as they both wore matching red outfits and a cigarette hung from his mouth.
She also caught her 50 Shades of Grey co-star also lighting up, and captioned the now deleted pic “sex on legs”.
Bella Hadid was also caught puffing out smoke as she sat with a relaxed looking Lara Stone, Paris Jackson and Ruby Rose.
Paris seemed to be so at home that she had even kicked off her shoes and was relaxing barefoot.
Emily Ratajkowski also videoed the full to overflowing restroom as more and more celebs tried to cram themselves in for their own time away from the event.
To add insult to injury, the legal buying age for cigarettes stands in New York at 21 – meaning that Paris and Bella are both underage and shouldn’t technically have them.
Designer Marc Jacobs also enjoyed a cigarette with punk mother-daughter duo Frances Bean Cobain and Courtney Love.
The new pictures are sure to court controversy as it has been illegal to smoke in New York bars, clubs and restaurants for the past fourteen years – with the Clean Indoor Act going through officially in 2003.
