Meghan Markle champions her cooking skills and reveals go-to recipe to impress dinner guests
MEGHAN Markle could be plucking up the courage to win over the Royal Family with her signature roast chicken.
The American actress, 35, who is dating Prince Harry, championed her cooking skills in an interview with Good Housekeeping magazine.
And in a sign she could soon use it to win over the Queen and Prince Charles, she said: “There is nothing as delicious or as impressive as a perfectly roasted chicken.
“It’s a game changer. I bring that to dinner parties and make a lot of friends.”
Meghan has been dating Harry since last summer and stayed with him several times at Kensington Palace.
The Prince, 32, has also visited her in Toronto, Canada, where she is based for TV show Suits.
Meghan, who worked with the UN on equality and female empowerment, also gave an insight into how she keeps in touch with Harry.
She said: “I used to be a calligrapher. I think handwritten notes are a lost art form.

The idea of someone taking the time to put pen to paper is really special.”
In a further boost for her long-distance relationship with Harry, she also revealed she loves long-haul flights.
She said: “The best way to kill time on a flight is to drink wine and watch movies. It’s like a vacation in the sky.”
Posing for pictures with photographer Bryan Derballa, Meghan also spoke about her fashion sense.
She said: “The key is to have your own point of view attached to it. I love cropped pants in vegan leather, a great fitted blazer and button-down [shirt].”
The full interview appears in the June issues of Good Housekeeping, on sale from today.
