Things will get worse for Bethany before they get better, with the schoolgirl set to be raped by a third man later this week.
Days ago, Bethany, 16, was raped by Nathan’s mate Neil at a house party, and it has now emerged he will offer the youngster to another of his sick friends, a man named Ian.
She is now engaged to Nathan, and was seen flashing her diamond ring, but that does not stop him exploiting her.
Ian will take his turn with the teenager after being brought to meet her on Friday’s episode of Corrie.
However, there is some light at the end of the tunnel, after Lucy revealed show bosses have assured her there will be a positive outcome.
She said: “Kate said she’s not going to be in a dark place for the rest of her life. She sees Bethany as a successful businesswoman because she’s smart. So I think in the long run she’ll be OK."
