EASTENDERS fans were given a shock insight into the secret life of barmaid Tracey on tonight's episode as the Square rallied around her to save her job in the Queen Vic.
The legendary bar maid has been a source of speculation for decades - with actress Jane Slaughter being a recurring background character since the first episode of EastEnders on 19 February 1985.
But it's only now - 32 years later - that a whole chunk of her history has been revealed - including a move OUT of Walford, two divorces, and a cancer scare.
After she was unceremoniously sacked in Friday's episode of the show, the residents paid tribute to the loyal worker by throwing her a goodbye party in her honour - only for her not to turn up.
Ian Beale - who has been on the show since the first episode back in 1985 - found her sitting outside on a bench looking dejected.
In a rare moment of kindness from the businessman, the pair shared a heart-to-heart as she reflected on her time polishing glasses in the iconic watering hole.
He then stormed into the bar and declared a boycott on the pub itself - and in the process revealed a whole heap of secrets previously hidden from viewers - and the pub regulars - alike.
First, it was revealed that she didn't even LIVE in Walford anymore - having moved out YEARS before to nearby East Ham.
As the party guests looked shocked Kathy added that despite moving away she would "never miss a shift" and would travel in by bus every day.
But the shocks kept rolling in as Ian added: "This place has seen her through two divorces AND a cancer scare!"
As Jane looked stunned and revealed she didn't know about that, Kathy said: "She was the perfect barmaid - listened to other people's problems, yet never shared her own."
Shirley then admitted that they "broke the mould" when they made the silent fan favourite - but refused to reinstate her as she tries to save the troubled bar from closure.
Ian then triumphantly declared a boycott on the bar in her honour and, with loudmouth Kim Fox as his right hand man, the whole pub emptied out, chanting: "Justice for Tracey" in the process.
As sad Tracey walked away with her head held low, Vincent Hubbard chased after her - and immediately offered her a new job.
