Take Me Out viewers recognise prison officer Luke as Ferne McCann’s ex from Celebs Go Dating
The Welsh contestant will be hoping his date on the Isle of Fernando goes better than his one with Ferne
EAGLE eyed Take Me Out viewers noticed there was something familiar about Saturday night’s contestant Luke.
The Welsh love lift challenger left almost all of the women competing on the hit ITV show swooning as he arrived looking for romance.
Luke impressed the ladies as he revealed he made a living for himself as a prison officer.
However what he didn’t reveal was that he has already appeared on TV looking for love – being paired up with unlucky-in-love reality star Ferne McCann.

Viewers of the ITV show recognised Luke from when he appeared on E4’s Celebs Go Dating where he was sent on a date with ex-Towie star Ferne.
Unfortunately for Luke, his date with Ferne on the show went badly as she was suffering from an abscess on her bottom.
However Luke might have better luck on the ‘isle of Fernando’ as he won a date with a woman named Em after whittling down the ladies on the ITV show.
But viewers had been quick to notice Luke from his previous encounter – taking to Twitter to make it obvious for all.
“Didn't that 'officer' go on a date with Fearne McCann on celebsgodating?? #TakeMeOut,” asked one fan on Twitter.
Another tweeted: “@takemeoutuk Im sure Luke was on Celebs go dating too!! Dated Ferne McCann 😂#TakeMeOut”.
A further fan Tweeted: “Didn't he get swerved by ferne McCann on celebs go dating #TakeMeOut”.
While another noted: “#TakeMeOut God this lad goes on every dating show going, this, meet the parents, celebs go dating, probably blind date next.”
Ferne has not had a good time in the romantic stakes in recent weeks.
Following her disastrous participation on Celebs Go Dating she then gushed she had found love with on-off lover Arthur Collins.
The couple appeared on the cover of OK magazine declaring their love for each other.
However disaster struck afterwards as Arthur was arrested for attempted murder following an acid attack in a London club.
Ferne is, however, pregnant by her lover and has vowed to raise the child as a single mum.
