BETHANY Platt was raped by Nathan Curtis' sick mate Neil while her boyfriend watched on.
The horrifying scenes saw Bethany (Lucy Fallon) led into a room after being plied with alcohol as she desperately tried to signal to Nathan (Chris Harper) for help, only he ignored her.
On tonight's episodes of Coronation Street, Bethany had asked Nathan what Neil was getting out of meeting up with her, he smirked: "He gets to test drive a Lamborghini."
Nathan went on to flourish her with compliments, saying that he would be pleased to just be sitting next to a woman "so far out of his league".
She told him: "For you, I can do anything."
In a bid to get her daughter back, Sarah booked a flat viewing to give Bethany somewhere to come back to. However Bethany sadly got the wrong end of the stick when she saw her mum and Gary being shown the flat, thinking that they were planning a new life without her.
An upset Bethany accidentally bumped into Mary (Patti Clare) who noticed that she was upset.
She asked whether a man had hurt her and Bethany was shocked, saying that her mum had hurt her.
Bethany said that she had come back to give her mum a hug, and was clearly upset at the idea that her mum was keen to move on with her life without her.

Mary was worried about her and tried to insist that she get her mum around to chat to her. But Bethany went on to say that she had a man who she could give a hug to instead. Mary clearly realised that there was something wrong going on with Bethany's relationship with her boyfriend.
Last year it was revealed that Mary had suffered abuse at the hands of the man and was raped when she was a teenager.
Of course, Mary only had a hunch so had no idea that when Bethany left that she would be going back to her groomer boyfriend.
Bethany then met up with creepy Neil and the pair ordered drinks, which he said was his treat.
She went on to apologise about Nathan's equipment being "stolen".
Later Bethany and Neil went back to Nathan's flat, where other people had come for a drink.
Nathan suggested that Bethany keep talking to Neil and when he started getting handsy she looked towards her boyfriend for support, but he simply grinned in encouragement.
In heartbreaking scenes she signalled for him to come and rescue her, but he ignored her.
Neil then led her into the bedroom, where they sat on the bed and Bethany continued to stare at the door.
He kissed her neck and cringed away from Neil and told him: "I think you've got the wrong idea, I'm not that kind of girl."
Bethany cried as she was pushed down on the bed and stared at the door.
