Katie Price hints she will star on new series of Dancing On Ice
KATIE Price has hinted she will be the next star to sign up for the new series of Dancing On Ice.
The former glamour girl, 38, has admitted she would love to get her skates on for the new show after her pal Michelle Heaton put her name forward for the line-up.
The competition is expected to make a big comeback this year after being off-air since 2014 and the stars already jostling for places.
Liberty 's Michelle has already insisted she wants to skate, and Katie has now told fans it is her dream to join the show.
In a post on Twitter, Katie retweeted The Sun's story about Michelle's Dancing On Ice dreams, and she gave fans a hint she would be joining her.
Mum-of-five Katie wrote: "I would so do this."
It comes after a busy week for Katie as she caused controversy with her appearance on This Morning.
She stunned viewers by saying the N-word twice as she talked about the trolls who have targeted her son Harvey.
Katie later defended her actions, insisting she just wanted to raise awareness about bullying.
Former creative Jayne Torvill confirmed this week Dancing On Ice will return to telly screens, revealing the ITV show will have a new and “refreshed” look when it relaunches.
She said: “I love that it’s coming back, it’s great news – I’m really looking forward to it.
“The show will definitely be refreshed but the basics will be the same, we will still be teaching celebrities how to skate.
“It was a different sort of platform being in the studio – we like to be creative and come up with new things. There’s a new bar to set when the show returns."
Michelle previously said she wants to be one of the first to sign up, telling The Sun: "As a performer you want to do something that you can learn fresh so you build up your CV.
"I've never done ice skating and I've never professionally been taught dancing.
"It is one of those shows that I would love to tick off my bucket list. It would be really wonderful to learn how to do something like that.
"Lets hope I can pull some strings."
The popular programme saw Olympic champs Jayne and Christopher Dean teach celebs to skate competitively.
It was hosted by Phillip Schofield and Christine Lampard, but was axed after its ninth series.
