CHARLIE Dimmock became a household name, after she shot to fame in the 90s.
She is of course best known for hosting Ground Force alongside fellow green fingered TV star, Alan Titchmarsh.
Who is Charlie Dimmock?
Born in August 10, 1966, Charlie Dimmock is a gardening expert and TV presenter who rose to fame as one of the team on Ground Force, a BBC gardening makeover programme which aired from 1997 until 2005.
She grew up in Hampshire and her dad Terry was a merchant seaman while her mother Sue had her own clothes shop.
Her mum and stepfather Rob, tragically died in the tsunami caused by the December 2004 earthquake in South East Asia.
The couple were on the island of Phuket in Thailand when the tsunami hit and were never found.
Is Charlie Dimmock married?
Charlie isn't married, and as of October 2022 is reported to be single.
She enjoyed a 13-year relationship with boyfriend John Mushet, although an affair with a sound technician at Ground Forced ended things in 2001.
Charlie then went on to date another BBC sound technician, Barry Smith, yet the relationship didn’t last, with Charlie even confessing that she was “too old for marriage” in an interview with the .

Back in 2004, she appeared on Channel 4 reality show The Games which saw 10 celebs competing against each other in Olympic-style events such as weight-lifting, gymnastics and diving.
Charlie also competed on Celebrity MasterChef in 2006 and had her own gardening slot on The Early Show on American channel CBS.
Since 2016 Charlie has hosted Garden Rescue.
