PETE Wicks plants a smacker on the slimmed-down face of James 'Arg' Argent as he welcomes the freshly-detoxed Towie star back to his home turf.
Arg, 29, has lost over a stone since leaving the continent, and his Essex buddies are more than impressed with his transformation.
The adorable photo from Pete comes a full ten weeks after Lydia Bright's ex Arg went to Thailand to battle his personal demons.
And it sounds like Arg has become physically and mentally much stronger than ever before after all his activities and Asian food he's been living on.
A source close to the star told The Sun Online: 'Arg is in the best place he's ever been - there is no going back now.
"He won't go back to the old Arg ever again and he certainly won't pile the weight back on - he's completely changed, he's focused and he's happy.'
By the kiss picture, tattooed Pete — whose current show drama involves his ex Megan McKenna — wrote on Instagram: "Good to have this fella back and looking so well... @real_arg #Proud."
Meanwhile another of Arg's best Towie buddies, Jon Clark, actually came to see him in the middle of the night to catch up.
Arg explained by a snap of them together: "@jbclark_ got me out of bed when I was fast asleep last night but as if I'd turn down a good goss & catch up lol!
"Overwhelmed at how many Visitors/Calls/messages I've had as well as love & support from you guys! #meanseverything #thankyou".
His BFF Jon wrote of Arg in his caption: "HES BACK!! @real_arg my boy is back!! And he is looking unreal!! Im so proud of this guy! He is a changed man! Awwwww made up for him!! ❤️ #pals#NeeStart(sic)".
The massive welcome home for Arg follows reports he might not return to Towie until bosses get to see the change in his lifestyle.
Until now Arg has prided himself on being the show's only original member, but since he was first caught using cocaine in 2014, his time on the show has been dogged with short absences.
The star was still involved in some of the biggest storylines on recent seasons after the revelation he slept with co-star Gemma Collins, and girlfriend Lydia Bright, on the same day in Marbella last October.
However, it seems like Arg's retreat has done him the world of good and the "complete change" Towie bosses are looking for from him is just around the corner.
