Watchdog says such posts should be clearly labelled as ads
STARS plugging brands on social media were warned by authorities in the US this week that they must disclose if they are being paid for endorsements.
The UK Advertising Standards Authority said yesterday that such posts “should contain clear labels such as #ad or #advertisement”.
