Mark Wright’s mum Carol Wright shares sweet tribute to new granddaughter as Michelle Keegan gives birth to baby girl
The couple posted a black and white photo of their baby swaddled in a crochet blanket to share the news
MARK Wright’s mum Carol Wright has shared a sweet tribute to her newborn granddaughter, after it was revealed that Michelle Keegan had given birth.
Friends say Fool Me Once actress Michelle, 37, gave birth last week with Heart FM DJ Mark, 38, by her side.

And announcing their news on Wednesday, they posted a black and white photo of their baby swaddled in a crochet blanket.
They shared: "Together we have a new love to share. Our little girl.
"Palma Elizabeth Wright, 06.03.25."
The couple were flooded with messages congratulating them, one of which came from Mark’s proud mum Carol.

She took to her Instagram stories to repost the photo Mark and Michelle had shared.
And Carol, 64, wrote over the top: “We are in love with you beautiful baby girl thank you Michelle and Mark for this wonder gift. X.”
Mark's best pal James Argent also shared a tribute, and said: "She's perfect" alongside a red heart and singer Jessie Ware penned: "Congrats xxxxx"Body Coach star Joe Wicks said: "FFS I'm crying over here. I know how much you've wanted to be a dad and you'll be an amazing dad too. This is the most beautiful thing to see. So happy for you both."
Mark's brother Josh shared an emotional message, writing: "Made up for you both and incredibly proud.

"You will be amazing parents to your beautiful princess who is perfect in every way.
"Can't wait for Palma to grown with her cousins who will protect her forever and make memories for a lifetime. Welcome to the world my little niece, we love you so much."

And a message from Mark's workplace, Heart Radio said: "Sending so much love! Welcome Palma!!"
The Sun revealed there are two very sweet reasons the couple have chosen both monikers for their little girl.
Michelle and Mark have strong links to Mallorca, which is where they announced their pregnancy news to fans.
Palma is the capital of the Mediterranean island.
The couple chose the location for their bump shoot as they consider it their "second home", making no secret it is their "favourite place" to holiday.
During a visit to Mallorca in November, Michelle shared a carousel of images and wrote: “Just a couple of days in our fave place before the Christmas build up begins.”
An insider later revealed that it was during this trip that Mark and Michelle decided to shoot their pregnancy reveal on the beach.
A pal told The Sun: “Michelle and Mark went on a winter sun break in early November and chose to take the photograph there.
“It was taken on an empty beach by a friend when they knew no one would spot them.
“Majorca is like a second home to them so it felt special for them to take that photograph there."
Meanwhile, the couple chose Elizabeth for their daughter's middle name as tribute to Michelle's great-great grandmother.
In 2018, Michelle appeared on the BBC series Who Do You Think You Are? and discovered she had links on her mother's side to Spain, along with Portugal, Monaco and Gibraltar.
It then emerged that on the English side of her family, the actress' great-great grandmother, Elizabeth Kirwan, was part of the Suffragette movement.
