What time is Posh Pawn on Channel 4 tonight and what’s the pawnbroking show about?

FROM a piece of Charles and Diana's wedding cake to a chunk of moon rock, viewers have been captivated by the weird and wonderful items passing through Prestige Pawnbrokers on hit show Posh Pawn.

And with the colourful cast back for the latest series of the Channel Four show, we take a look at the ins and outs of high-end pawn.

When is Posh Pawn on TV and what's it about?

The new series of Posh Pawn continues tonight - Friday June 2 – at 8pm on Channel 4, with the seventh episode of the sixth series.

Airing at the same time as Posh Pawn will be EastEnders on BBC One, Gardner's World on BBC Two, Britain's Got Talent's final semi-final on ITV and The Great Fire on Channel 5.

The pawn series first aired back in 2013 and has been a huge hit. The show explores the fortunes of luxury business Prestige Pawnbrokers, which has branches in Weybridge Surrey, Hatton Garden, Manchester and Richmond-on-Thames.

Who is James Constantinou?

The entrepreneur, who has a background in property development, set up his pawnbroker business in 2009.

His says his favourite item brought in to the store is a suit of armour which his staff have nicknamed "Keith".

However, he prefers the luxury vehicles and high-tech gadgets - this series sees him take a spin in a super car worth £80,000.

Who are Posh Pawn's experts?

James's fiancee Claudia Valentin is an expert in luxury with her speciality pricey handbags.

Industry veteran Lawrence Pickett acts as the company's autograph and memorabilia specialist.

Meanwhile, Deborah Howard has specialist knowledge in in watches, diamonds and gemstones along with firearms and militaria.
