Love Island’s Cara De La Hoyde ‘to join Towie as a full-time new cast member’ after shock split from Nathan Massey
CARA De La Hoyde is set to join Towie as a full-time cast member following her shock split from Nathan Massey.
The Love Island star will appear on the show once again this Sunday and has promised to reveal the real reason she split from Nathan.
While Nathan appeared on Wednesday's show to discuss the aftermath of their break up with his friend Tommy Mallet, Cara is strongly rumoured to be joining permanently after impressing bosses as The Sun Online can exclusively reveal they are so impressed they want her to sign up as a regular.
A source close to the star said: "Cara is expected to sign on the dotted line - she has got lots to say and Towie bosses know that fans are really interested in her relationship with Nathan and their split.
"They know how popular Cara is because of her huge social media following and there will be lots of mileage in her as a full-time cast member."
The Sun's Bizarre column was the first to reveal the couple had parted ways after meeting on the ITV2 show last summer, with a source saying it was because of a series of "silly rows".
But Towie bosses are hoping Cara will reveal further details of what really happened between them.

The source continued: "Everyone is desperate to find out the real reason why she split with Nathan and by joining the show, she promises to reveal just that."
Cara has appeared on the show a handful of times already alongside Nathan, attending the St Patrick's Day party earlier this season.
Nathan opened up to Tommy Mallet on his side of events saying: "The littlest thing would spark a massive argument.
“I just thought to myself, ‘where’s this going.’ I’m not saying it’s her, I’m not saying it’s me. It’s just brought me down a lot.”
He continued: “My friends have seen it, and I think she’s the same. It’s sad. But I don’t resent her. I hope she doesn’t resent me for anything.
“I just want a relationship like you two (Tommy and Georgia). That would be nice.”
We think she would make a great new addition to the cast if she does appear full-time!
A spokesperson for Cara declined to comment when approached by The Sun Online.
