Wife of Fearne Cotton’s boyfriend ‘shocked and devastated’ after finding out he’s dating TV star just weeks after split

THE wife of Fearne Cotton's new boyfriend is "devastated" after finding out he's dating the TV star, according to reports.
We exclusively revealed podcast host Fearne, 43, is in a new relationship with TV executive Elliot Hegarty, 53, just days ago.

They were pictured kissing and holding hands in a busy London street weeks after splitting from their spouses.
reports that Elliot's wife Laura is "totally shocked and devastated".
A source said: "She's already going through a difficult time, and this has just added to her heartbreak.
"It wasn't an easy split because there are also children involved.

"They've tried to keep good relations for the sake of the kids, but I fear that things could now get a bit awkward between them."
Laura and Elliot married in 2014 and have three children.
Friends of the former couple described them as living a "comfortable and beautiful life" in the country and were surprised by the split.
Fearne's musician ex Jesse, who is the son of Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood, is equally as stunned.

“Jesse was so upset when they split,” a friend explained.
“He knew Fearne had started a relationship with Elliot and that has been tough.

“But to see them kissing in the street and laughing with her friends is a bitter pill to swallow.
“He was married to Fearne for ten years and he loved every inch of her.”
Fearne announced the split on December 16 and just 10 days later Elliot ended his relationship, too.
The former Radio 1 host has remained in her and Jesse's family home in west London with their two children.
Friends say Jesse, who is a guitarist with the band Reef, moved out following their split and has been comforted by his friends and family.
“Jesse is a quiet man who keeps himself to himself,” his friend continued.
“His family, notably his brothers and his sister, have been a huge support to him.
“They were all so shocked when Fearne and Jesse split, and they think her parading her new relationship with Elliot around town seems rather cruel.
“It has been all people have been talking about in their inner circles."
The friend added: "All they care about is supporting Jesse and making sure he is alright.”
Fearne alluded to issues within their marriage three years before their break-up.

She said that she and Jesse had gone through a difficult patch which culminated in them having a “two-hour screaming match” in a park.
Writing in her Red Magazine column in 2019, Fearne said: “Love takes hard work - and no one wants to hear that.

“This year, Jesse and I hit a rough patch - he was away, touring relentlessly.
“I was trying to keep my own career going while looking after our kids and we were both desperately clinging on to our marriage.”
