Pop star Ed Sheeran stuck with misspelled tattoo after Saoirse Ronan writes ‘Galway Grill’ on his arm
Actress was meant to write the name of his hit song Galway Girl
SINGER Ed Sheeran has been left with a misspelled tattoo after actress pal Saoirse Ronan wrote the wrong word on him.
The Oscar-nominated star, 23, scribbled Galway Grill on Ed’s arm instead of the title of his hit single Galway Girl.
Atonement star Saoirse appears in the video for the single, which was shot in Galway, Ireland, last week.
Ed, 26, said: “When we were filming it I meant to get a tattoo of her handwriting saying Galway Girl from her point of view.
“It actually says Galway Grill. G-R-I-L-L. She really took the p**s out of me — full on.”
Superstar Ed made his admission on the first night of the UK leg of his world tour in Glasgow on Sunday.
He said: “I haven’t actually told anyone that yet.
“I’m actually quite proud of her. It’s the kind of thing I would do.”
