Emmerdale spoilers: Rhona Goskirk violently raped by husband Pierce Harris on their wedding day
The evil businessman attacks his new wife just hours after their wedding ceremony
EMMERDALE'S Rhona Goskirk is to suffer a horrifying ordeal at the hands of husband Pierce Harris on her wedding day.
Viewers have been aware of Pierce's hidden dark side for some time having watching him force himself on Rhona, threaten her friend Vanessa and subject his fiance to an awful revenge porn ordeal, but the true extent of his evil will soon be laid bare.
It takes until the actual night of his wedding for Pierce to reveal the true extent of his disturbing personality to new wife Rhona.
The businessman will brutally attack and rape his new bride, just hours after their ceremony.
However, while his last sexual assault left Rhona questioning what had actually happened, this time the vet will be under no illusions as to what has happened.
She will be left in a state of complete shock, terrified of Pierce and desperate to escape from him after the attack.
The week begins on Pierce and Rhona’s wedding day and the excited bride is nervous and the groom seems stressed. Before the ceremony he is unreadable and makes a furtive phone call.
Meanwhile Paddy gives Rhona his mum’s necklace as a sign of his blessing. The wedding commences and initially Pierce looks like he won’t be able to through with it. But soon it all goes according to plan and the couple tie the knot.
After the ceremony while the villagers celebrate in the Woolpack, Piers takes Rhona home and carries her over the threshold.
Soon after behind closed doors things take a nasty turn when after an argument Pierce pushes Rhona to the floor in a violent attack.
Rhona lies on the floor in a state of complete shock and she flinches in terror when Pierce steps past her.
In stark contrast, over at The Woolpack, the wedding party is in full swing, with much laughter and dancing. Rhona’s incredulous when Pierce tries to manipulate the truth of the brutal attack/rape.
Desperate to get away from her new husband, will she succeed? And if so will she go to the police?
