HELL hath no fury like a Sonia Fowler scorned in EastEnders.
The warring mother of Bex Fowler - who is played by actress Natalie Cassidy - thundered back into the Square on Friday after hearing of her daughter's bullying ordeal, and in Monday's episode she discovered the truth and threw herself at Louise Mitchell.
Unfortunately Sonia's plan of attack went a little bit wrong and she ended up knocking Louise's step-mother Sharon Mitchell into a blow up pool full of water and ducks.
Viewers were left in tears last week when Bex Fowler was duped into eating cat poo by a gang of evil bullies.
The teenager is being tormented by a group of girls from school, who stepped up their campaign of abuse with an evil trick.
Bex was duped into eating faeces during a cruel prank by bullies Madison and Alexandra.
The girls have been tormenting the aspiring singer and high school student for weeks and it took a nasty turn in last night's episode.
Madison appeared to apologise to Bex for destroying her guitar earlier in the week and offered her a chocolate truffle as a peace offering.
However, Bex then discovered it was cat poo after she bit into it – with Alexandra revealing it was a chocolate covered stool she had fished from her cat litter earlier.
The uncomfortable scene had viewers in despair as the poor school girl was pushed to her limit by the stunt.
Taking to Twitter in droves, many commented on the unsettling scenes – with many hoping the bullies would be discovered and stopped soon.
Many also admitted they were left in tears by the "distressing" storyline.
One wrote: "Gone from being in stitches with Kim to tears with Bex #eastenders killing it tonight! @jasarmfield amazing portrayal x"
Another added: "Watching the scenes of Bex getting bullied really does hurt watching 💔💔 horrible to see people going through that 😭💔 #Eastenders."
Some viewers suggested EastEnders bosses should add a helpline number to the closing credits to help other victims of bullying.
One wrote: "#eastenders is getting so intense I honestly feel for bex & them girls need payback. Why is there no helpline at the end @bbceastenders."
Another added: "@bbceastenders brilliant storyline with Bexs and #bullying but why no helpline at the end of each episode? #missedopportunity #eastenders."
