COUNTRYFILE star Ellie Harrison has revealed that she really is wild at heart after admitting she has extreme body art done on her arm.
The art, called "scarification", saw a professional carve into her arm with a blade - which she unsurprisingly said "really f***ing hurts".
Speaking to the , she admitted that there were only a few places in the country that you can get it done. She quipped: "I'm not surprised. Frankly, it's shocking."
The 39-year-old revealed that the reason she got it done was to represent the amount of time she and her partner Matt Goodman had been together.
A row of small circular scars line up on Ellie's arm and represent the ten years she's been with Matt.
She said: "They’re done with a blade. We’re not married, but this was my great offering to him. "Obviously if he leaves me I’ll have to create a different story about what it’s about!"
Speaking about whether he knew about it she admitted that he had "no idea" and that she presented her arm to him in a clingfilm wrap.

She revealed: "He was a bit shocked, I must say. He said he was conflicted, because I’d hurt myself in this pursuit, but he was obviously really quite emotional."
Since then the scars have healed and admitted that she was "a bit sick of looking at them" and that it had been "a bit extreme".
The Countryfile presenter revealed that her partner had asked her to marry him, but she didn't see it through.
She said: "I will do one day. We just haven’t done that bit. We’ve done the big stuff, the children, and the scars".
Ellie went on to speak fondly of her boyfriend, who she has two children with, and called him "the most handsome man on Earth".
She added: "He’s my beloved and I hope we die together. Not yet. But that’s my wish, that we end up dying together."
WHAT IS SCARIFICATION?
Scarification is an ancient practice of purposely scarring skin to leave permanent marks in the shape of a pattern and rather than inserting ink into the skin like a tattoo, the top layers of the skin are removed.
There are just a few places in the country which are licensed to do the practice.
Scarification is achieved through a number of methods, including: branding, cutting, peeling and via injections.
