Emmerdale fans divided as Cain Dingle kisses vicar Harriet AGAIN in church

EMMERDALE fans were left divided on Friday night as Cain Dingle snogged vicar Harriet Finch again on Good Friday.

The unlikely pair had already locked lips last month in a scene which shocked viewers and on Friday they were at it again.

As Cain waited out the back for the Easter service to finish, Harriet realised he was there and confronted him.

But soon the pair were kissing, with Harriet still in her robes but were interrupted by Emma Barton.

Thankfully Cain wasn't spotted, but as Harriet returned to pick  up where they left off, she clocked him unloading his latest batch of stolen mobile phones.

Furious, Harriet, kicked him out of the church, and later she appeared to have grassed him up to the police as they came into The Woolpack and took him to the police station for questioning.

While it clearly isn't the end of their latest storyline, Emmerdale fans aren't sure what to make of them as a couple.

One wrote: "Is Cain playing Harriet or is this romance legit?" while another said: "I say again Harriet and Cain... Please no."

A third agreed, writing: "I like Cain and Harriet as individual characters, just not as a couple."

Some were unhappy with the scenes because they feel like Cain should be reunited with his former love, Moira Dingle.

One wrote: "Nothing against Harriet, she just isn't right for Cain, there's only one woman for him and we all know who that is."

Another added: "No no no #Emmerdale Not Cain and Harriet, Cain and Moira!!!!"

But some fans were loving the surprising new couple, with one viewer saying: "I love Cain and Harriet together, they make a great couple.

A third simply said: "I'm all for Charriet to be honest!!!"
