Molly-Mae’s family are ‘horrified’ Tommy Fury has wormed his way back and think reunion will ‘crash and burn’, pals say
AS the age-old saying goes: “The wise forgive but do not forget.”
But those closest to Molly-Mae Hague fear she is being anything but wise after taking back love-rat Tommy Fury – just six months after she dumped him.
A well-informed confidante tells us Molly-Mae is, without question, once again in a relationship with Tommy, who is the father of her two-year-old daughter Bambi.
And her decision to take him back has not gone down well with her family, notably her sister Zoe – who has urged Molly-Mae to move on with her life without Tommy.
“Molly-Mae’s family and friends saw the hell he put her through and they’re horrified that his feet are back under the table,” a friend tells The Sun.
“Just six months ago she confided in them that she was expecting other women to come out of the woodwork, as well as saying his drinking had pushed them to the brink.
“Now she’s back in Tommy’s arms and it all appears to be moving so quickly.
“Molly-Mae’s closest friends and members of her family think this is a terrible idea and that it is all going to end in tears again.
“Zoe is fiercely protective and will never forget what Tommy put her through, let alone forgive him.
“They have been waving the red flags but Molly-Mae is staunchly independent and is pushing on regardless.
“As far as she is concerned, Tommy is the love of her life and the story ends with them being together. No matter what.
“It is a nightmare for those around her to watch. They fear it will crash and burn. For them it’s not a case of if it implodes again, it’s a case of when.”
The closing seconds of the third episode of her Prime Video documentary Behind It All saw Molly-Mae’s reaction to The Sun’s photograph of her kissing Tommy on New Year’s Eve.
With her head in her hands, Molly-Mae is seen saying on camera: “Molly-Mae and Tommy kiss on New Year’s Eve.
“That is so bad.”
Her friends say Molly-Mae’s reaction was born out of the fact she was desperate to control the narrative of their reunion.
“Molly-Mae’s fans are rabidly loyal and fierce,” the friend explains.
“She was already under a huge amount of stress and choosing to get back with Tommy is a road she wanted to navigate slowly and without input from her millions of followers.
“Plus Molly-Mae is a perfectionist. She likes things to be just so and that is the same for her personal life and how it is portrayed. Having that narrative taken out of her hands was a nightmare situation.
“But Molly-Mae’s reaction to the story coming out in The Sun was, rather ironically, exactly what her family and friends have been thinking though. This is bad and there is no getting away from it.
“They think Molly-Mae is going to end up embarrassed and heartbroken all over again.
“She lives with this fantasy idea that she will marry Tommy and will have more children, but it is just that, a fantasy.
“Those closest to her are trying to get Molly-Mae to take a more realistic view but she is having none of it.”
Boxer Tommy is now spending nights with Molly-Mae in Cheshire, at the home she kicked him out of in August after confronting him over cheating allegations.
The reconciliation is all being captured for the second part of Behind It All, which will film later this year.

At around 4pm on Wednesday, August 14, Molly-Mae and Tommy suffer an explosive showdown and Molly-Mae announces her split from fiancé Tommy Fury, saying ' I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way'.
An hour later Tommy shares a separate and brief statement confirming they have parted ways, and thanks Molly-Mae for making him 'a dad'.
The real reason they split emerges and on Thursday, August 15 The Sun reveals how Molly-Mae learned Tommy had cheated on her - leading to an explosive showdown.
On Saturday, August 17, The Sun reveals how Molly-Mae had been sent an upsetting video showing Tommy kissing a girl in a nightclub in North Macedonia on a lads holiday.
Exactly one week after the split a Danish woman accused of getting close to Tommy speaks to The Sun. On Wednesday, August 21, she denies she is the girl who kissed Tommy.
Molly-Mae has been insistent that the split, and their reunion, was not manufactured.
She said last month: “I wish it was a publicity stunt because it would be a lot easier because going through all of this with the turmoil of a break-up has been incredibly hard.”
Tommy too broke his silence and blamed his issues with alcohol for being the cause of the implosion of their five-year romance.
“The reason why me and Molly broke up was because I got addicted to alcohol and I couldn’t be the partner that I wanted to be anymore,” Tommy said.
“It kills me to say it, [but] it’s true, I couldn’t. I loved a pint of beer, loved to drink, and it is what it is.
“People go through different things in life and we all have our crosses to bear. I’ve got mine to bear.”
Molly-Mae is now supporting Tommy as he continues working to keep his life on track.
Spending time together as a family of three is a priority for her, with Molly-Mae expecting Tommy to be on his A-game for the foreseeable future.
Those close to Molly-Mae admitted her friends and family are now watching the reunion play out from afar.
“The people who love Molly-Mae the most will be there through thick and thin,” her friend tells us.
“They have warned her, tried to reason with her and urged her to think with her head rather than her heart.
“But Molly-Mae isn’t listening. So now they are sitting back and waiting to see what happens.
“Naturally all they want is for Molly-Mae to be happy and right now she is.
“Her relationship with Tommy is back on track, her businesses are thriving and there are big things coming up for her this year.
“The last thing anyone wants is a repeat of how horrendous the break-up and the build up to it was.”
