FERN Britton made an explosive return to This Morning when she unbuttoned her trousers and flashed her tattoo at Ruth Langsford.
The 59-year-old returned to the ITV show for the first time after she quit as a presenter eight years ago and she made for a lively interviewee as she sat on the other side of the sofa.
The hilarious moment happened when Fern revealed she got her SECOND tatoo of a simple cross on her wrist after filming a religious programme called Fern Britton's Holy Land Journey for the BBC.
Afterwards she got the small tattoo saying: "Pilgrims from years used to get it as a sort of passport stamp."
Eamonn then asked if she had any other tattoos and she swiftly jumped up off the sofa and unbuttoned her trousers to flash the rather intimate inking at Ruth.
Her husband Phil Vickery couldn't believe his wife's antics and put his head in his hands over in the kitchen.

While Phil didn't mind her cross tattoo, Fern admitted he was shocked when she got two butterflies inked on her tummy near her hip.
She said: "He wouldn't even speak to me after I did it, it was like I'd had an affair!"
Fern, who was replaced by Holly Willoughby, appeared on her old haunt to promote her new show Culinary Genius.
Speaking about the new show, which will air on ITV at 3pm from Monday April 17, she said: "Gordon Ramsay has taken three years to get it on air and it's very tense.
"instead of one or two chefs, we have nine, they're all amateurs but they're very keen.
"The first thing they have to do is the knife challenge and you get rid of three of them straight away.
"Then it's the butcher challenge and the number of plasters and blood we've been through is unreal."
They then whittle down the group to just three contestants before crowning a winner.
Speaking about her return to This Morning, she said: "It wasn't strange, I was excited to come back and see everyone!"
- This Morning airs weekdays from 10.30am on ITV.
