EASTENDERS actress Jasmine Armfield has admitted her character Bex Fowler's bullying storyline is "distressing to watch".
The actress was chatting to Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford on This Morning to promote their anti-bullying Be Kind Campaign.
This week saw things escalate for poor Bex when school meanies Madison and Alexandra along with Louise Mitchell, came into her room and smashed her guitar.
When asked what it's like acting out such tough scenes, she said: "When we're filming, they really do scare me, it's in their eyes.
"To watch it, even acting it, even when they edit it together, it's distressing viewing.
"She wants to say something, she's too scared."
Speaking about the Be Kind campaign, Jasmine said it can be hard for others to speak out when they see their pals being bullied.
She said: "I think because the bullies have so much 'power' they're nervous to step in in case they get caught in with it as well."
Ruth asked if it was "nerve wracking" to be part of such a delicate storyline that will affect lots of viewers at home.
Jasmine said: "I think nerves are a great thing, it shows you really care about what you're doing.
"I really did want to do it justice, it's so common, I wanted to give a good representation for young people and that if they see it they might get some help."
Jasmine also shared her advice for Bex or anyone in a similar situation saying: "Speak out, a problem shared is a problem halved, tell anyone."
Viewers at home were really impressed with Jasmine and took to Twitter to praise her acting ability.
One wrote: "So proud of my idol @jasarmfield your such an inspiration💫⭐️ I am so proud of you💕👸🏻🎭#Eastenders #thismorning".
Madison apologises to Bex during tonight's episode but is it all as it seems?
