Drama Versailles is raunchier than ever as pregnant Madame de Montespan strips NAKED and has sex with King Louis XIV in graphic bedroom scene
The controversial first series averaged a scene of sex or violence every 15 minutes
FANS of saucy BBC Two drama Versailles will see pregnant Madame de Montespan having sex with King Louis XIV in a graphic sex scene when show returns later this month.
Images released ahead of the controversial drama's return show that the raunch has been turned up even more as Montespan (Anna Brewster) and the King (George Blagden) engage in a passionate love-making session.
She can be seen gritting her teeth and gripping the brass bed frame as the king thrusts away further down the bed.

In another still shot, presumably in the build up to their vigorous bedroom activities, she can be seen fully nude, cleansing herself in an elaborate washroom.
After enjoying a relaxing soak in an ornate bath, Montespan rises to her feet and is met by the King.
Chevalier (Evan Williams) can also be seen looking content as he lay in bed with only part of a sheet covering his modesty.
Beside him Louis' brother Philippe de France (Alexander Vlahos) is on his front and the pair appear to have just finished sleeping together.
Featuring a fresh depiction of sex and violence every fifteen minutes, the first series surprised viewers who were used to more gentle programming from the Beeb.
This led to the first season of the TV romp-fest being described as “pornographic” by family campaigners.
Norman Wells, of the Family Education Trust, said: “The BBC may choose to refer to Versailles as a ‘period drama’, but a programme featuring such sexually explicit scenes is quite simply pornography dressed up under another name.”
And Chris McGovern, of the Campaign for Real Education, was just as tuned off.
He said: “It’s TV junk food that is playing to the lowest common denominator and it has little to say in terms of history.”
However, a BBC spokesperson said: “Versailles is an established series shown after 9pm on BBC2 and its content is nothing beyond the expectations of a post-watershed UK television audience.”
