Love Island star Nathan Massey spotted filming Towie scenes on his own just FOUR days after split from girlfriend Cara De La Hoyde
NATHAN Massey was spotted filming scenes for Towie earlier today, just four days after his split from Love Island star Cara De La Hoyde.
The hunk has previously had cameos on the ITVBe reality show with ex-girlfriend Cara but this is the first time he has appeared solo.
Sources say bosses could even be considering him for a longer term stint this time.
A source told The Sun's Bizarre column: "Nathan was looking for something to take his mind off the split and Towie has been the perfect project.
"He loves appearing on the show and hopes that this time it could be something a bit long term."
A spokesperson for Nathan and a rep for the show declined to comment.

Cara and boyfriend Nathan officially split on Friday last week after just eleven months together.
The separation came after a string of "silly rows" which friends say led to the Love Island couple calling it quits.
A source said: "They've both mutually agreed to call it quits.
"It hasn't been an easy decision but in the end they decided things would be better apart.
"They stayed really amicable and will definitely do all they can to be friendly."
Cara and Nathan won Love Island in July last year and bagged a £50,000 prize in doing so.
At the time a source said: “Nathan and Cara have always had a fiery relationship with plenty of ups and downs.
“But their latest bust-up is their biggest yet and it’ll be tough for them to come back from this.”
After winning Love Island last summer the pair landed a series of lucrative magazine deals and were hoping to increase their profile further by securing their own reality show after impressing on Towie.
However, towards the end of last year Nathan indicated their relationship was not straight-forward given they've only known each other for a relatively small amount of time.
On living together in Essex, he said: “There have been arguments. I’m not the easiest person to live with.
“But you forget we’ve only known each other for six months.”
