Now Jeff is backing a campaign which is calling for men to be offered the HPV vaccination, which for the past nine years has been available for girls aged 12-13 on the NHS.

HPV (human papillomavirus) is a sexually transmitted disease which can lead to cervical cancer in women.

Jeff admits there is little awareness around the risk it poses to men, including anal and oral cancers.

Jeff opened up about his fears for his two sons, Bobby, 13, and 12-year-old Freddy.

He said: "Jade's death may have been HPV-related so as a family we know first-hand how heart-breaking the consequences of the virus can be.

"Jade would want me to do all I can to protect our boys and I can't lose them too."

"HPV is typically seen as a female issue. But I'll definitely be getting them vaccinated now."

Boots is now offering the vaccine to males aged between 12 and 44 years old for a small fee.

The campaign was also backed by Dr Christian Jessen.

Jeff retrained as a life coach following Jade's death and regularly appears on television to help others.

Last month he was praised on This Morning as he advised parents suffering with cancer.

Jeff is also currently working on a new TV show with Dr Christian that is focused on bereavement counselling.
