Eamonn Holmes is reunited with Kate Garraway as he returns to ITV breakfast TV after 12 years – but wife Ruth Langsford isn’t happy
The bubbly Northern Irish presenter fronted GMTV on the broadcaster more than a decade ago, yet revealed Ruth was less than impressed by his 3am alarm call
EAMONN Holmes was reunited with presenting pals Kate Garraway and Charlotte Hawkins as he returned to ITV breakfast TV for the first time in 12 years - yet revealed wife Ruth Langsford WASN'T impressed by his 2.45am alarm call.
The Northern Irish presenter is a familiar face to viewers after presenting early-bird shows GMTV more than a decade ago.
He is currently filling in for regular Good Morning Britain presenter Piers Morgan and fans relished his arrival on the sofa alongside old mate Kate.
He opened the show with a welcome to viewers before declaring "order has been restored" as she squealed: "You say it so casually!"
She added: "It's like you have been in the shower and it's all been a dream."
Kate then introduced a series of throwback images showing Eamonn with jet black hair and a jolly grin presenting from years ago.
Eamonn , 57, presents ITV show This Morning every Friday with wife Ruth.
Yet with a 10.30am air time, a later wake-up is needed.
