DANNY Dyer has dropped his partying mates to focus on his job at EastEnders.
The troubled actor - who plays Mick Carter in the BBC soap - recently had to take a break from the soap to deal with personal issues but is now back at work and reportedly has stopped seeing some of his partying mates in order to put all his energy into work.
"It's outrageous, we haven't seen Danny for ages," one of his pals told the Sunday Mirror.
"He's gone very quiet. He doesn't see us anymore because he's so focused on EastEnders. He said he couldn't do anymore partying like he used to."
The actor recently returned to work and was pictured at the studios in Elstree after more than a month away as he jetted off to South Africa alone to recuperate.
Danny, 39, is said to be in better shape than ever just six weeks after he was given time off by BBC bosses due to his gruelling work schedule and party lifestyle.
He was spotted arriving at the studios earlier this month in a Porsche 4x4 to finally get back to business after his break, and his co-stars were reportedly delighted to see him on set.

An insider told the : "Danny has been missed these last few weeks.
"So it was a welcome sight seeing him drive back into the studios with a cheeky smile on his face."

Witnesses have told how EastEnders stars had to step in as raging Danny “kicked off” after the bash.
Danny, whose character has been at the centre of several big storylines, flew to Cape Town, South Africa, without wife Jo, 40, or their three children Dani, 19, Sunnie, eight, and son Arty, two.
There were concerns that he might leave permanently, with his £400,000 a year contract set to expire in November.
His absence will only just start to be seen on screen by fans of the show, as it is filmed six weeks in advance.
Funeral scenes for his on-screen grandmother Sylvie were shot last month and Danny was not present.
- EastEnders airs Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday nights on BBC One
