Mama June ends up in HOSPITAL in ‘excruciating pain’ in From Not to Hot finale as complications arise from her stomach surgery
Daughters Honey Boo Boo and Pumpkin had to rush to their mum's aid when she was left in unbearable pain
MAMA June suffered a scary setback to her weight loss journey in the latest episode of From Not to Hot when she was rushed to hospital in the middle of the night in unbearable pain.
The redneck matriarch, 37, had just celebrated reaching her goal weight and slipping into her size four "revenge body" dress for her cheating ex Sugar Bear's wedding to his new bride.
She even took her daughters into the woods to burn her old clothes as she bid goodbye to her former self once and for all.
However, that evening, she ends up yelling for her daughters to help as she keels over on a bed in unbearable pain.
Heading to the hospital to get a CAT scan and tests done, fears start growing for the mum-of-four as people grow concerned that she has a blood clot in her stomach or a leak in her gastric sleeve.
She admitted: "This pain I've never felt in my whole damn life. Something's really wrong."
Being encouraged to get her towards the car, June looks defeated and admitted: "I can't go straight up. I'm going to pass out."
With the help of their bodyguard Luke, the group call an ambulance and rush Mama June to the hospital.
The sudden change in her physical wellbeing comes after months of trying to transform her body and shift nearly half of her body weight.
After posing for a classy photoshoot in last weeks episode, Mama June beamed: "“It makes me feel really good to show other people this is what I’ve always thought of myself and that my inside hadn’t changed, like my giving and outgoing and loving personality that was there when I was there.
“It’s just a little bit more out there.”
But earlier in the episode, her children Pumpkin and Honey Boo Boo were left worrying after surgery to remove excess skin lasted FIVE HOURS.
Honey Boo Boo, 11, admitted she was worried she wouldn’t know who her mum was when she was waiting for the big reveal.
She said: “They wouldn’t let her come home until they could make sure that she wouldn’t have no nerve damage.”
Honey Boo Boo - real name Alana - has teared up more than once in her transformation as she came to terms with how different her mum had become.
Mama June’s 17-year-old daughter Pumpkin appears more prepared, telling Honey: “Her double chin is gone, her bat wings are gone. She’s going to look like a completely different person.”
Her journey hasn’t been without its problems however, with Mama June sensationally quitting the show after the painful skin removal surgery leaves the star feeling “like Frankenstein”.
Mama June finally pulled through however and continued with her incredible journey.
