Hollyoaks star Stephanie Waring and Michael Greco split after arguing over his ‘party boy lifestyle’
Former EastEnders actor called time on soapy romance after six months
HOLLYOAKS star Steph Waring has split from Michael Greco just six months after they went public with their romance.
The 38-year-old - who plays Cindy Cunningham in the Channel 4 soap - confirmed she was dating the former EastEnders hunk Michael back in October after they were spotted having dinner in Manchester.
However, it seems their romance has floundered, with pals of the couple claiming it was their differing lifestyles that saw them call time on their budding relationship.
A source told The Sun online: "Michael loves a night out and is a bit of a party boy, but Steph is more of a homebody.
"She was really keen for them to settle down and set up home together, but it was just too much too fast for him.
"Steph is pretty cut up about it, she really liked him and hoped that their relationship would last the distance."
Michael's an avid poker player and has previously won £100,000 after one came at a Cardiff hotel.
It's not the first time Michael has cooled things between them, with the couple dating for several months before rekindling things last autumn.
A pal said at the time: "They've been dating on and off for the last three months.

"Although at one point Michael cooled off when Stephanie made it clear that she wanted something a bit more serious."
It's not clear if they will work things out this time round, with both of them unfollowing the other on Twitter.
It seems Michael, 46, had been on Steph's radar for quite some time - she used to love watching him in Walford.
Speaking to Bang showbiz in December, she said: "I think he should go back to 'EastEnders'.
"I watched it when he was in it years and years ago and I loved watching him on it.
"He's back to work as an actor now and back in the UK, he's been in America for a few years."
Michael revealed that he has never been asked to return to the BBC soap, saying: "Well I've never been asked to go back.
"You never say never, never close any doors. Who knows I mean I know so many characters come back to 'EastEnders'."
Stephanie, who is currently on her fourth stint in Hollyoaks admitted that she didn't want her new man to join her in Chester.
She added: "I'm sure it would be lovely to have him in 'Hollyoaks' but I don't actually believe in mixing work with pleasure!"
