Holly Willoughby returns to This Morning today and says she’s ‘feeling much better’ after two days off with mystery sickness bug
The presenter has finally stopped throwing up on her cat
HOLLY Willoughby is returning to This Morning today after taking two days off due to a sickness bug.
The 36-year-old TV favourite tweeted on Tuesday night during her show, Play To The Whistle, to thank fans for their "get well" wishes and give them an update on how she was.
Holly wrote: “Hope your enjoying #pttw ... thank you for all your lovely messages, I'm feeling much better and will be back at @thismorning Tomorrow 💋”
Speaking to Phillip Schofield on her return to the show on Wednesday, Holly said: “It was just 48 hours of grimness.
“I mean really bad and then Belle wasn’t very well. It was just a weird one. It was one of those weird things but now it’s gone and I feel much better.”
Holly had sparked rumours on Twitter that she was pregnant after pulling out of Monday’s show because she was feeling ill and “threw up on her cat”, but the TV presenter was actually just off with a stomach bug – and her whole family had it too.
Phillip previously explained on This Morning: “Holly was texting this morning to say there is a bug in the Willoughby-Baldwin household.”
“It’s gone round once and apparently it’s going round again and now Belle’s got it back again.
He added: “So poor Holly is not well and having to cope with poorly children as well so it’s all gone horribly wrong.”
Viewers weren’t left in the lurch though, on Monday Rylan Clark-Neal stood in to host with Phil, and yesterday telly gold was recreated when Phil was joined by his Going Live! co-host Sarah Greene who he hadn’t partnered with for 24 years.
