Glastonbury fans spot huge clue Irish band is nailed on for Pyramid Stage slot
The theory proved true for the past two years
GLASTONBURY Festival fans are convinced an Irish rock band is guaranteed to perform on the Pyramid Stage next year after picking up on a major clue.
Every summer Glastonbury Abbey hosts a musical extravaganza featuring big name artists who have a habit of appearing on the festival bill just months earlier.

Headliners of the past two Abbey events - Texas and Keane - both wound up as fourth billing on the main stage at Worthy Farm on the years they played.
This year it is The Script's turn to play the event and fans now believe they're nailed on to be at the festival, too.
When one fan posted their predicted festival lineup on a Reddit forum which featured The Script on the main stage, another fan added: "Last 2 headliners of the Abbey Extravaganza(Texas and Keane) have played 4th down Pyramid the same year. Just going by that logic for the placement."
The Script, led by frontman Danny O'Donoghue, formed in 2001 and have sold 20million records worldwide.

They've had six number one albums in the UK and are best known for hit singles The Man Who Can't Be Moved and Hall of Fame.
Tickets for the atmospheric Abbey event, which takes place on August 9, cost £50 for adults and £25 for children.
Camping on a site at the foot of the historic Glastonbury Tor carries additional costs.
Other acts are still to be announced and there will be a big firework display to end the day at 10pm.

One artist who definitely will be in Glastonbury in June is Sir Rod Stewart.
The Faces frontman has the honour of performing in the coveted legends slot, though it'll cost him a big chunk of cash to do so as he'll be flying his solo band in from the USA.
He previously said: “It’s a great honour. It’s going to cost me a fortune to do it – $300,000.

“I’ve got to bring all my band back from America, of course Glastonbury don’t pay for that.
“But I don’t care if it cost me $1million. I would have done it. This is a great honour. It really is the greatest honour.”

THE Glastonbury line-up hasn't been confirmed - despite the fact tickets for the 2025 event sold out in minutes. Here are some rumoured acts.
Basement Jaxx sparked speculation they will be playing at Worthy Fam after leaving a "Glastonbury shaped gap" in their latest tour schedule.
It came after the hit duo announced their first live shows in 10 years - with gig-goers calling out a key "clue" in the order of their concert dates.
Yet acts including Olivia Rodrigo, Harry Styles, Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan and Eminem are rumoured to be in the mix.
Canadian songstress Alanis Morrisette and Simple Minds have also been tipped to take to the stage.
The event will run from Wednesday, June 25 to Sunday June 29 for 2025.
