Phillip Schofield will reunite with former co-star Sarah Greene on This Morning today to host together for the first time in 24 years
SARAH Greene will reunite with her former Going Live co-star Phillip Schofield today to host together for the first time in 24 years.
Holly was forced to cancel another appearance after being struck down with a sickness bug this week, with sources confirming to the Sun online that Sarah will step in.
The star was on the show to help raise awareness of ovarian cancer, and at one point she turned to Phil and said: "It’s so great to be here with you."
Going Live was broadcast on BBC One from 1987 and 1993, and the hosts have remained good friends ever since.
Speaking to Best magazine, she said: “I don’t know… We could host a This Morning/Going Live! mash-up to celebrate! Break Gordon the Gopher out of rehab, bring back Trevor and Simon.
“It’d be hilarious to co-host with Phillip. We’re still good friends.”
She added: “I went out with Phil and his wife, Steph, a few months ago, and we’re having dinner in a couple of weeks. He was fabulous to work with.”
It comes after a source confirmed to The Sun Online: "Holly is still unwell. It's just a sickness bug and today's show will be hosted by Phillip Schofield and Sarah Greene."
Phillip announced the news that Holly was sick yesterday and told This Morning viewers: "Holly's not very well today so I've been given the most unlikely partner. I can't wait for this."
He later added: "Get well soon. She text me this morning and said she got up and threw up all over the cat."
He then revealed they had managed to get Rylan Clark-Neal out of bed in time to be her replacement.
Rylan quipped: "I was in bed an hour and 20 minutes ago."

Phillip joked: "They said, 'Rylan is coming' and I said, 'No I'll do it on my own'."
Rylan continued: "This really is an unlikely pairing. A presenter and an X Factor reject."
Phillip revealed why his new presenting partner would cause problems as he revealed their height difference was too noticeable on the famous sofa.
One person who wasn't impressed with the new presenting duo was TV chef Gino D'Acampo who interrupted the show with a cup of coffee in hand.
Phil then addressed Holly as he said: "Holly, this is all your fault.
Meanwhile, someone who made it clear they were missing Holly's presence was the This Morning puppy.
A picture was tweeted from the This Morning's Puppy account showing the pup eating a treat with the caption: "Eating my feelings with @HollyWills not on set today #ComfortFood #ThisMorning"
